Buildings
Buildings, whether they are new or historic have always been my favourite scenes to photograph as I have always admired the architecture of each building no matter where.
In 2015 we visited Maastricht and I saw this beautiful horse and carriage on The Vrijthof Square waiting to take visitors on a round trip of the town. Months after painting this scene, when watching an Andre Rieu video, I noticed that this is the backdrop of his Concerts in Maastricht.
This was a magic little restaurant in Bernkastel Kues on the Mosel (in Germany). Old buildings filled with history, cobbled streets, quaint shops filled with delightful souvenirs and delicious goodies. 2015

This is another street in Bernkastel Kues, little hotels and pubs everywhere, with hot roast pork or beef rolls for sale... tourists queue up for these tasty treats and then rush off to catch the next boat on the Mosel to their next destination. 2015
